15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Morning on the Blackwater River
The Blackwater River runs not far from my home in southern Virginia and I enjoy exploring it in my kayak from time to time. The water was extremely quiet this morning and the fog was beginning to burn off.
