This 1951 Hudson Commodore is the star of my book, "Abandoned Vehicles of New Hampshire: Rust In Peace." My first grandson is coincidentally named Hudson, and with the book being dedicated to him, I knew I had to photograph that particular car. I found this one magically in a field one day, and I took so many photos of it over the next year it has it's own chapter. Finally, once the book was done, I just had to have it! The owner agreed (so did my wife), and it now sits in a meadow in front of my studio, where I continue to photograph it on a regular basis.
