Morning prayer

Ethiopian "Falash Moura" Jews praying on a weekday morning at the temporary synagogue in Gondar. they are wearing the "tefillin" (phylacteries) on their hands & foreheads - the small black leather boxes containing scrolls of parchment inscribed with verses from the Torah. These Falash Moura Jews are stranded in Gondar for a very long time, waiting for permission to immigrate to Israel.
