I woke up before sunrise to drive into DC the day before Thanksgiving. The Reflecting Pool and Lincoln Memorial is usually crowded with people even at that hour but that morning the cold seemed to drive people away. I walked to the other end of the pool in front of the World War II memorial and took this photo.
