This is an abstract image of 2 photographs taken of the ceiling in the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid. I was drawn to the mosaic patterns repeatedly and consecutively decorating the roof. It was stunning to see so much wealth of colour but it was impossible to capture the scale given it's height above me so I decided to concentrate on specific panels merging them to form an ethereal and limitless seam of patterns in one image.
