The concept behind this photograph was a cycle of growth and rebirth. The model can be interpreted as either sleeping or at peace in death, which is part of the birth and rebirth cycle of life. Instead of being surrounded by death, she is pictured in an ovular bath tub buried with beautiful flowers. I wanted the image to be peaceful and a little eerie, as the viewer is not sure whether or not she is alive.
