Pantanal, Brazil. 2021 will be remembered in the pantanal as mothers and cubs season. I was there in September and we had been following three mothers with young cubs for around 10 days. One morning we had spent a few hours looking for Ägue and her cubs when she suddenly appeared on the river bank and immediately proceeded to cross. We stayed far not to disturb them but also because I wanted to capture as much of the landscape as possible. I waited to have a nice background mixing trees and sand banks and took the shot.
