I was on a small boat in the waters surrounding Munnar in the state of Kerala, India. The locals had told me that it was an unlikely time of day to catch elephants walking about. So I set out with low expectations, but to my surprise saw this baby elephant struggling to walk properly, with its mother nudging along its back legs for support.
