My dog Sofritas and I live on the tracks. Sometimes the trains are awful and loud, but there's also subline beauty in that space that occasionally catches me off-guard. In the photo, a routine dog walk somehow became a magical moment, and steps we had taken together many a time were transformed into to an oddly mystical journey.
