Motherhood: Pronghorn feeding her twins

The life of a mother can be tough. Especially if you have twins! Pronghorn fawns will continue to nurse for about 4-5 months. That seems like a long time for an animal like a pronghorn. Especially since they have to kneel down to get a drink. However, the mother is trying to ween them. She didn't stick around to long to let them drink. The great thing about this butt shot is that it focuses more on the fawns.
