Motherless
A self portrait taken on my mother's childhood bed, almost 4 years after her passing. I long to be close to her, to hear her laugh and feel safe in her harms, but grief is all we are left with when our loved ones are gone. All feelings of warmth turned to absence; a son now motherless.
