My husband and I were on an anniversary trip to Switzerland. We had ridden the cog wheel train to the top of Mount Rigi with every intention of returning the same way. But it was so incredibly beautiful that we decided the best way to appreciate it was on foot. So off we hiked; intending to walk to the next town and catch the cable car. One town became 2 and then became 3 as we just kept going. That day will stay forever with me ...the two of us walking through the Alps on a glorious afternoon.
