Mount Zion Covered bridge is located on road number 458 in Springfield Kentucky. It was built in 1871 and constructed with arch truss. The bridge is 246 feet long and 11 feet wide. It is the longest multi span covered bridge in Kentucky. During the civil war both the union and confederate troops burned a large number of kentuckys covered bridges.
