Mountain Flame, Western Tanager

Four of these wonderful male Western Tanagers and their mates migrated through our garden in northern Utah this year. They ate a few seeds, some berries, and drank from our birdbath - so exciting to see them! We live in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains on a small creek so many migrating songbirds come through our oak woods.
