Mousuni Island_Water Scarcity

Mousuni Island is a very remote village of West Bengal, India. Cyclone Aila, which hit the island in 2009, resulted in loss of croplands and fishing boats, causing agriculture and culture fisheries take a severe blow. River bank erosion in Mousuni Island is occurring at a rate of 1.02 km per year, wreaking havoc and claiming several houses and farmlands. After Losing Land to Floods people In Sundarbans have To Struggle Even For Drinking Water.
