I went out on my parents' back porch looking for something to photograph--either that, or I saw the grasshopper on the patio, and was inspired. I can't remember which happened first....Either way, the little guy grabbed my attention, and I started snapping. I ended up taking 21 pics of him-this one being my best. He didn't move the entire time.
