Mummy Cave Ruins in Canyon de Chelly

The Palace. This photograph was taken at Arizona's Canyon de Chelly located in the Navajo Tribe Reservation. Two mummified bodies were discovered in 1882 at the site. It's believed to be last pueblo the Anasazi occupied before abandoning the canyon around 1300 A.D.
