This picture was taken at the peak of autumn in my favourite forest in Wiltshire, Savernake forest, where I was welcomed by an enormous and unexpected variety and number of different fungi. All shapes, colours and sizes possible. This group of little ones right on the forest floor was a real treat to spot!
