A gentle giant, the musk ox grazes calmly and quietly on the slopes of Dovrefjell. This magnificent pre-historic giant uses its hooves in the winter to dig out the roots and mosses that surround them and I managed to capture this one with some moss hanging from its fur just below its mouth.
