The 15-year-old Mwamini lives with her mother in a tiny house in Quartier Les Volcans. Mwamini means ‘believer’ in Swahili.“I like to play Capoeira because I break free my mind, I escape from reality. It helps me to forget about poverty. Very often we don’t eat at home. Every time I play I forget all the suffering,” said.
