It had been a long night with my then 3 month old little boy, he had finally found his spot of most comfort on my chest. We slept for the next few hours like that, even with the exhaustion of brand new babies, I loved every minute. In the morning, I slide him off my chest and into bed and it was back to the rush of real life. I stood in the mirror, groggy, brushing my teeth and saw the print of his little hand on my chest. It was perfect and profound, this is what having children is and I could take a picture of it!
