The photo shows a green anole lizard on a palm frond. I was sitting in the back yard of a friends house reading a book as I was waiting for her to come home. All the sudden this little creature jumped out of the palm trees next to me. It was quite curiously looking at me as if it would like to find out what I was doing. Finally it jumped on my shoulder which scared us both. As I must have made a sound of startlement the little guy jumped on the next palm frond and looked back at me with what seemed to be a grin on his face.
