People say you cannot understand real love until you have had a child. I finally understood this saying when my daughter made me a mother. Everything changed the moment she entered my life. I have learned more about myself than I have in the years before her existence. Every day brought new choices. Every choice brought progress. Every progress brought development. I never thought I could have so much patience and love to watch someone blossom at her own pace, and yet, here she is, with all my patience and love...my daughter.
