In the city I have dreamed of visiting for years, Paris, I found myself peering through the highly photographed Musée d'Orsay window on a hot July afternoon. Although I knew that my moment frozen in time would not compare to the framed works hanging around me, keeping the moment in visual memory was enough to satisfy my far-fetched longing to live alongside the greats featured only steps behind me.
