It was an early morning in Mrauk U, a town surrounded by hills in northern Rakhine State. All news around the world were sreaming about clashes in Rakhine state. At the very same time I was there, heading to Shwe Taung Pagoda through the night. There at the top it was one of that spiritual moments when sky turns light pink. The fog was slowly raising through the valley, tranquility covered all around.
