Namibia Milky Way

The milky way viewed here on a new moon night in Namibia in some of the clearest skies anywhere. Taken in mid June at the beginning of winter we hadn't had clouds for almost 3 months at that point. Also, because we were 45km from the nearest town light pollution is at a minimum. The light on the foreground was provided by a dining area where workers eat communal meals.
