Nataxik, to remember
Everything is sacred in the Maya World; this naturally implies a sense of gratitude and remuneration. I was invited to go with the Quechi elders to thier sacred cave. We walked for hours in the dark until reaching the entrance. The elders did a small petition for permission to enter. As we descended, Don Domingo began placing candles as offerings before we started the ceremony.
