I was on a small group trip on the Mekong River in Laos. We arrived in Luong Prabang in the late afternoon and had some free time. I wandered around the town and found the national palace. There were very few tourists around and the sun was behind me. I knew we were going to visit the palace the next morning. I'm so glad I took this image in late afternoon, as the sun was behind the palace in the morning, and there were lots of tourists there.
