National Parliament House,Bangladesh

The National Parliament House is in Dhaka,Bangladesh.Designed by architect Louis Isadore Kahn (American)Its one of the largest legislative complexes in the world.The architect's key design philosophy was to represent Bengali culture and heritage,while at the same time optimizing the use of space.An artificial lake surrounds three sides of the main building.The intention of Kahn for the parliament was to produce an ideal expression for the new democracy by using perfectly geometric shapes:circle,half circle,square & triangle.An artificial lake surrounds three sides of the main building.
