My best friend and I were taking a day trip to Toronto from Niagara Falls. We passed by a beach on Lake Ontario and decided to stop. Although I enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking, my best friend does not necessarily enjoy being outdoors--except when it comes to the beach. Her first trip to the beach was only a few years ago, but this beach was unlike those she’s seen in the southern United States. I love this photo because it is a scene of natural enjoyment. While not in beach attire, she is truly taking in the moments, enjoying the breeze over the lake and the water on her feet.
