During the Texas freeze of 2021 I traveled out to east Texas to photograph one of Texas's iconic lakes. This is an overhead photograph of Caddo Lake during that freeze and a river of free moving water that had cut through the ice to flow perpendicularly to a vein of Cypress trees.
