17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Natural mirror
This image should show the sunset of "potentially dangerous" species, such as sharks, crocodiles, rays (and many more). For now this mirror is a natural mirror, but in a few years this mirror dissapears maybe... We are on to exterminate those animals for personal reasons. As an example: 100.000.000 million sharks are killed every year only for their fins (called: finning), means 190 sharks while you are reading this caption (assuming you need one minute). The plastic in oceans is super important, no doubt, but the animals themselves are as well.
