Natural silhouette Landscape on Lake Shore Trail.

While on a bicycle ride over the Lake Shore Trail, just leaving the cooler woods to enter the very warm fields I stopped by these plants. Their detail seemed to put a lacey edge along the mountains profile. It was a beautiful warm day, but we were in the midst of a several months long drought. The reach of the Green House Effect ? The Pine and Ash trees in Pennsylvanias mountains are dying from beetles, the chestnuts and Elm trees already having succumbed to mans interferance. Will losing these trees heat us up more?
