Nature Looking at Humanity

While driving down from the mountains coming home from a hike all I could see was forest and trees around me. Everything was dark and surrounded by switchback after switchback. Suddenly there was a break in the trees and I could see humanity like the forest must see us. I could feel the culture striving for the light and the primitive straining for the trees.
