17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Mobile
I came upon this scrap, a charred remnant from a bonfire on the beach. I loved the way ‘Nature’ had remained unburned, beautifully framed by scorch marks. As I took my photo a little spider ran up and paused, for just a moment, before moving on.
