Nature's Slow Death

Early morning sunrises would refresh and bring a new breath of life to all of the wildlife, the flora and fauna, the vegetation and the people. However, there was great sadness too. Trees, both large and small along the Nam Theun River were covered by water and could not survive. Either the roots were drowned by the rising water, or they were damaged by the dam's construction. A single, tall and strong tree was forced to die, it's roots could not survive the construction of the Nam Theun dam. The dead tree created art at sunrise. It sends the message of warning to mankind. We are to protect and preserve nature and biodiversity, not destroy it.
