The little girl in the Photograph is Durga, she lives in a seaside village in West Bengal India. Her parents and grandparents work as fishermen and deal in dried fish businesses. Durga roams arround her village like other little kids there sometimes watching her parents work or playing with her doll. She is a very sweet and a naughty girl who likes to make faces and then burst into laughter. Her home doesn't have electricity, everyday after sunset her grandfather lights up this oil lamp and she walks with it here and there, she loves the lamp and how it lights up her little home. I took this candid photograph when Durga was holding the lamp and was sharing a moment with her grandfather.
