In India ,we worship 9 Holy Goddess during the 9 days of navratri the story behind this festival is that goddess defeated the demon & revealing the women power "SHAKTI" on my visit to madhya pradesh during navratri garba a traditional dance is done around this image of shakti to inorder to get her blessings ,this festival is celebrated in various states of india with certain pecularities to get blessings of the goddesses.
