In April, my 4H club transformed a dead area around our school flagpole into a pollinator garden. My son donated a packet of mixed flower seeds from his 4H pollinator project. I must of contained a number of zinnias, because that is what mostly came up. They are now in full bloom and feeding a variety of pollinators.
