Nemophora prodigellus, male

Nemophora prodigellus. Similar to Nemophora fasciella. Males are metallic silver- bronze with irregular fascia across wings. Coloration varies. Antennae of male is about 3.5x wing length. Head is black. Females have yellow-orange heads with antennae nearly same length of wing. Female wings are metallic lemon-gold to strawberry orange with a dark irregular bar, fascia. Marking near collar of head differs from N fasciella, particularly noticeable on male. Oxeye Daisy, Leucanthemum vulgare host plant: Betony, Stachys officinalis Betonica officinalis
