This past summer I traveled to Kampala, Uganda with a non-profit speech-language pathology organization. While the children waited for therapy, we often quickly bonded despite a langague barrier. This photo depicts me with one of my new Ugandan friends. I believe it conveys the warm sense of love and community I felt from the beautiful Ugandan people.
