In all my time photographing wild horses this shot touches my heart the most. This was the first time the two foals had ever met. They played together as if they had not one care in the world. Little do they know that their friendship could be stolen away in one wild horse gather never to see each other again. It made my heart sink. It's not often you get to capture something so emotional with ones that are born wild. Normally if the foals are not in the same band of horses it's not allowed that one strays to meet another. This was one of those rare moments.
