New Zealand fur seal pups
A trio of New Zealand fur seal pups at Admiral's Arch, Kangaroo Island, South Australia, Australia. These seals were nearly hunted to extinction due to their soft pelts by early European settlers. Thanks to conservation efforts, there are now over 100,000 on the island today. A fun fact regarding them is they can dive to depths of up to nearly 1,250 ft, which is the deepest of all fur seals.
