Newburg Cemetery in the middle of Kentucky Lake
Newburg Cemetery, or “cemetery island”, is located in the middle of Kentucky Lake and is only visible a few months a year when the lake is at winter pool. One lonely gravestone is all that’s left from this town that was flooded to make Kentucky Lake.
