Night Heron is from my Gowanus Canal project and was taken in the shadows around dawn. It was low tide and this regular Heron was walking around in the sludge hunting. The green cast is from the algae and water and it made a magical moment but in reality it's a creature surviving in several feet of toxic sludge.
