Night in technicolor

While photographing a buildings for students Of Hoogeschool Utrecht for my 'Night in Technicolor' I realized that there must be something, strictly in comon between all those different Dutch cities situated in a far disctance of each other, such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague or Utrecht. However they were most undiscrabley different but I still could feel the duch vibes almost in every visited corner. The vibrations impossible to meet anywhere else than in The Netherlands. Then I understand that just as – we humans – have own unique DNA containing our unique genetic information, also each city is built according to its own unique pattern. A pattern impossible to decipher anywhere else, where an attempt to duplicate it would end up in mutating something unique that cannot be transferred to another place on earth with a different latitude. Because of it's unique sfeer of the fading lights of lanterns, the sounds of the innermost gossips whispered in secret, the smell of raindrops falling on the hot asphalt, the view of the night sky through the window of a dream-lit house, the colors dominating every element of everyday life and the steps taken daily to reach the desired goal. Does each city have its own unique poattern? I believe it has ... I hope my both works from my serie 'City pattern 'are proof that it is possible, but ... …If you're not sure about it just look around you and let the spirit of the city be your guide into your quest for answers.
