My friend and I attended the Union Grove High School athletic finals specifically to do some photography. My friend is a very experienced sports shooter, so this was a learning experience for me. Watching these young handicapped racers tear around this track in special high performance wheelchairs was very humbling. I had a friend who was a quadriplegic, so was familiar with the incredible challenges these young people must face.
