Non- Breeding American Goldfinch
Today, November 14th, 2021 is the first time I ever had the fortune to photograph the underside wings of a goldfinch as it approached the seed bowl. I was mesmerized by how golden the inside of the wings were, which I had not noticed before. I felt blessed to capture this image on an overcast day through the window after it snowed overnight! This time of the year we don't see a lot of color except for the wild birds who come to eat on the feeder in our back yard.
