This was taken on a walk at Northerly Island in Chicago on a crisp fall day. What I love about it is how it illustrates the "City in a Prairie" idea. You can walk through the beautiful prairie grass and see Lake Michigan on one side and the gleaming modern skyscrapers on the other. This is just one of the dichotomies that make Chicago such a unique and beautiful city.
