My wife, two good friends, and I set off around 11:00 p.m. to search for the northern lights while visiting Norway. We drove for a few hours no knowing how or where to find the lights. Eventually, around 2:00 a.m. we drove around the side of a mountain, which blocked out most city lights and made this photo possible.
